#MBFWRUSSIA Grey Coat No 2

 If you are a big fan of grey colour and of grey coats particularly, you might like this picture. One thing a I like about this look is that the lady in the picture added a bright colour to her look - she wears red boots. That's a nice trick to make grey look more colourful.

 Personally I'm not a fan of grey. I own only 3 grey pieces - a pullover, a vest and shorts. Surely I do not put them on frequently. Grey does not make me look bright. It's because I'm always pale and a bit blonde. The lady in the picture is tanned and a brunette, so she looks good wearing a total grey look.  

Architecture in Moscow № 22

 How was your new year night? No alcohol, no dancing, no snow eating? I'm kidding, guys. 

 I decided not to attack you with fashion posts. It's time for you to enjoy a nice creation of a human technical thought. I mean the building above. I think it's a nice building to look at after new year celebration. The building is very fancy and grand, don't you think so? The colour combination for a building facade is rather rare for Moscow, as well as for any other city in the world. It's a shame that Moscow city authorities do not care about city infrastructure and do money laundering to increase money on their own bank accounts. I hope that someday the situation will change in the government of Russia and generous and country-loving people will rule the country. For now, let's enjoy the beauty of the splendid building.

Happy New 2015 Year!!!

Here we goooo!!! 2015 is coming! Are you ready for celebration? Are you ready? Got enough champagne? 

 My dear friends = readers = all the people in the world! Thank you so much for staying with me and following fashion\bookish\life discoveries. Sorry for not blogging as often as I could've done, I will try to do it better next year. 

 I want to congratulate all the working girls and boys out there! In 2014 you did a very good job and you really worked your a**es off. So now is time to enjoy the fruits of your toil - to call your mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, grandparents and to say that you love them, to drink champagne, to dance, to laugh, to get crazy, to eat snow (but do not eat yellow snow), to hug your friends or strangers in the street, to kiss your beloved ones or strangers in the street, to give your pet more food than you usually do, to say kind words to the old lady that you've been hating for a year, and to wake up in the fluffy bed with the whole life ahead!

 My dear friends, I hope 2015 will bring you all the happiness that you wish for, all the piece that you worry about and all your dreams will come true! Promise yourself to be a better version of yourself in 2015 and to do things that you always wanted to do but because of some stupid reasons postponed. Live your life now, not in the future, but today!

#MBFWRUSSIA 2014. Grey Coat Trend.

  I'm not a fan of grey colour, but if you like the colour and vintage or vintage looking clothes, you might like the coat above.

 To me the coat in the foto looks like a grandmother's coat, but the girl wears it quite well. In case you dear a brighter look: carefully styled hair, red lips, necklaces and earrings, party dress, see-through tights and hills - girl, you will look fabulous.    

Elegant & Simple

  This look is one of my favourite looks for autumn. What can be warmer in cold autumn days than a soft wool sweater? What can be more relaxing than an A-line skirt, which is not figure hugging at all, and you don't have reasons to worry about the way your butt looks? And what can be more comfortable with all the above mentioned items than an old or new pair of sneakers?

  It happens so sometimes that the more simple clothes you put on the more elegant you look.   

David Bowie Fans, Unite!

  These girls definitely love different styles of music. I wonder, is it possible to say what type of music a person chooses judging on his\her looks? 

  The girl on the left is easy to read - David Bowie and Pink Floyd are her favourites. The girl on the right looks like a pop music lover, or a pop rock fan?   

Ripped Jeans for October. DISOBEY.

  Somehow, I don't know why, ripped jeans look cool. I like the spirit of rebelliousness which they transfer. If ripped jeans for you is a distastefully ruined piece of clothes, for me ripped jeans mean disobedience, youth, rebellion against old order. Ripped jeans have become a symbol of freedom and youth. People are free from government, free from loans, free from their bosses :).

  Do not listen to your parents who forbid you to wear that kind of jeans - DISOBEY :) If you really like jeans with holes - DISOBEY. It's your life! Your parents in their life do not wear that type of clothes. It's O.K., cause it's their life. But your life is completely different from theirs. You are different from them. It's your life and your time to disobey, try new healthy things and live YOUR dreams!       

Street Art in Moscow # 19

  Street art is back on the pages of this blog. It has been long since I had a chance to see a street art piece that was worth publishing here. 

  The street art masterpiece above will keep you guessing for many hours about its message to the world. I still can not get it completely right. What do you think is shown on that wall? What is the painter's\graffiti creator's message to us?  

Transparency

 Transparency. People lack it in relations, in politics, in minds, in life. We lack transparency in everything except clothes. We gladly show off our beautiful or unattractive bodies wearing transparent piece of clothes, but we never show transparency in anything else. Sadly, but exactly that "anything else" part requires, badly needs transparency. Transparency equals clarity, fairness, saying truth, no acting, no pretence. But instead of showing transparency inside people choose to wear transparent clothes.

 Transparent pieces of clothes seem senseless to me, but they help to add tenderness and lightness to your look.   

New York Fashion Week September 2014. UNpopular Street Style Trends.

  Fashion week continues all over the world. This means we have a lot of images and ideas to be inspired with. 

  This is my last post on NYFW street style trendsб because I don't want you to get bored with NY. Though many of you will say it's impossible to get bored with NY. And I agree with you, guys. But there are other cities: London, Milan, Paris ... and Moscow, that demand and truly deserve our attention. 

  Popular NYFW Spring 2015 street style trends you can see here and here. This post is dedicated to unpopular but bright trends. "What is the reason of focusing on UNpopular trends?"- you ask me. Well, not to look similar with 1000 other people in your city. 

  Ladies and gentlemen, the parade of UNPOPULAR New York Fashion Week street trends starts now:  

    

Baggy Shirts 

  It's a new trend. Personally I myself would have bought a baggy shirt, if it wasn't for my taboo on buying new clothes. So guys, if you tend to dislike figure-hugging pieces, I advise you to try a baggy shirt.  

To-Look-Like-A-Man

  Lovers of pants suits rejoice! Your time has come! Now you can demonstrate to the whole world your feminism and your business attitude. 

- "When you see a lady in a pants suit, what idea comes to your mind?" 

- "It is a business lady."

- "You're absolutely right, baby."

  Girls, if you want to show your boss that you mean business, go ahead, show your serious part. 

  Personally I prefer skirts to pants for office work. I think that a girl should look like a girl.  

A-Line Skirts

  Ahhh, these skirts are absolutely beautiful! What makes a girl more girly than an A-line skirt? One great thing about skirts of this type is that they look good either with heels or with flats and oxford shoes.  

Wide pants

  The wider the better!

 Baggy pants are 100% for high heels lovers. If you are one of them, then why not? Believe me, it's not only-one-season-trend. Next spring wide pants will be still be trendy. 

 I see one big advantage in wide pants - you don't have to worry how your butt looks in them. They conceal all the shortcomings in that area.  

Bright Colours Hair

 Why not to experiment a bit with your hair style? You can dye in pink only hair ends and see how it works with you. If it doesn't, you can always cut it. More on why the pink or green hair are so trendy you can read here. 

Mesh

 If you don't have any insecurities about your body, why not to show it to your friends putting on a mesh sweater or skirt? 

Wide Shorts

 You won't believe it, but shorts are trendy this autumn. 

 I would choose wide shorts myself, because, first of all - I like shorts, and second - wide shorts look like a skirt. So your friends or workmates won't understand what you are wearing: skirt or shorts? They look good with flats and platform boots. And no, they don't make your legs look short. If you like them, then who cares, baby? 

Long Sweater Above  Skirt

 It's unordinary and it looks fresh. Long sweater and skirt equals a dress. It seems that you are wearing a dress, not a skirt and a sweater. What is the reason I'm talking this nonsense now? My idea is - if you have a favourite long and baggy sweater, but you've never worn it with your favourite skirt, it's time to start doing it.   

Bright Trousers

 And skirts, I would add. Aren't you sick and tired of black trousers and skirts. Put on something bright! 

Hats

 They are coming back in fashion. But now they don't define person's status or polite manners, which is nice. It's No 1 piece for early autumn days. A hat protects your head from sun and cold. Beanies are good but in a hat you look romantic, old-fashioned in a good way. and stylish, of course. Wearing a hat helps you to stand out from the crowd. Let's face it - not many of us are still wearing hats on a regular basis. 

   

Knee High Boots

 High boots or botforts will never get old for autumn. They make your legs look longer and slimmer. You will always look cool wearing high boots with a short dress or jeans. 

Good Colour Combination - Pink & White

Guys, the idea is simple - wearing pink and white you always look bright! 

An Ideal Couple

Isn't it great to see two people loving each other? 

I think one of the indicators of really good relations is when a boy and a girl wear something identical for a walk - T-shirts, sweaters, hats. The list is very long. This lovely couple has common colour preferences. At least they have one subject less to argue about.

Thanks to science and, as a result of it technologies made our life better. Our life rhythm became faster. We can cross a border of another country in an hour. Our grand-grand-grand parents had this idea in their most courageous dream. And now it's our every day life. People try to win time for fulfilling their plans and dreams. Such kind of busy people require to carry useful devices on their backs: ipads, laptops, notebooks. If the busy person is a woman, she can't help carrying some cosmetics with her. Ladies with long schedule lists carry big bags. 

I can be considered one of the big-bags-lover, as well as you, my dear reader. Though I switched from a bag to a backpack, but that's another post story.
